Founding & Institutional Framework

The Black United Nations is convened and institutionally supported by the State of Loc Nation Global Public Benefit Corporation (SoLN GPBC).

State of Loc Nation GPBC is a global public-benefit institution dedicated to:

• Restitution-based economic justice (not charity, not symbolism)
• Legal, historical, and policy research on redlining and intergenerational harm
• Governance architecture for self-determined communities
• Cultural and spiritual preservation
• Public recordkeeping and institutional documentation

Global Representation: The 196 Categories

Black United Nations recognizes and affirms 196 self-identified categories of Black people, reflecting the full scope of our global presence. These categories include—but are not limited to—national, tribal, cultural, indigenous, diasporic, and ancestral identities formed across continents, migrations, and historical classifications.

Rather than forcing uniform labels, BUN honors self-identification, sovereignty of identity, and historical truth, ensuring every community has standing, voice, and recognition.

Unity is not sameness.

Unity is agreement.

Purpose & Mission

The Black United Nations (BUN) is a global convening of Black leaders, nations, institutions, and communities dedicated to peace, dignity, cooperation, and sustainable development for Black people worldwide.

Modeled on the foundational mission of the United Nations, BUN exists to unite leadership, coordinate action, and establish shared standards that advance human rights, economic equity, cultural preservation, and collective security across the global Black diaspora.
